James Ball is an experienced data science leader with a strong background in analytics and business growth. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science for Ads (Creative and Guidance) at Meta since June 2021, James leads a team focused on leveraging AI for creative automation to enhance ad performance, contributing significantly to Meta's advertising revenue. Prior to Meta, James held the position of Director of Data Science and Analytics at Hulu, where leadership spanned advanced analytics and marketing analytics, driving subscriber growth from 12 million to 40 million. After Hulu's acquisition by Disney, an expanded role involved overseeing analytics and data science across Disney’s streaming services. James began a career at The Walt Disney Company in 2005, rising from Sr. Manager in Analytics to lead global teams. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an MBA from UCLA.
