James Mills

James Mills possesses a robust background in data science and engineering, with extensive experience across various leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta, Mills has previously contributed to Sainsbury's Digital, Tech and Data in multiple senior data science positions, including Data Science Manager and Head of Data Science. Additionally, Mills has been a member of the CORMSIS Business Advisory Board at the University of Southampton and has held roles such as Course Instructor at The University of Queensland. Early in his career, Mills worked as a Research Engineer at Oxford Instruments plc and as a Senior Associate at Right Lane Consulting. Academically, Mills holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical Quantum Physics from The University of Queensland and a first-class honors MPhys in Physics from The University of Sheffield.
