Jason Battle is a highly experienced Senior Battery Systems Engineer with a robust background in battery technology and systems design. Currently at Meta since May 2020, Jason is the Technical DRI for the development of new product introduction battery packs for virtual and augmented reality applications. Prior to this role, Jason contributed to Microsoft from September 2017 to May 2020, leading battery development for Foldables programs and overseeing various aspects of pack design and component selection. Jason's career includes significant positions at Texas Instruments, where responsibilities ranged from leading multi-cell gas-gauging hardware development to single-cell validation efforts. Experience also includes roles at Samsung Electronics, focusing on ultrafast charging hardware and fuel gauge testing, and initial work at Naval Air Systems Command as a visual systems engineer. Jason holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an A.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University.
