Jason Chi

Jason Chi is a seasoned professional in computer vision, currently serving as a Manager at Meta since October 2019, focusing on large-scale Structure from Motion using crowdsourced images. Prior to this role, Jason held positions including Software Engineer in video understanding at Meta and Senior Advanced Algorithm Engineer at Apple. Jason's career began at Magic Leap as a Technical Lead for the Online Calibration team, contributing to the development of calibration algorithms. Additional experience includes roles at Intel Corporation, where Jason worked on the Intel RealSense R100 technology, and an internship at Paracosm focused on visual odometry and object segmentation. Jason earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University.
