Javaria Bashir

Javaria Bashir is an experienced network security professional with a strong background in cloud security and network engineering. At Meta, Javaria currently serves as a Sr. Network Security Engineer, focusing on the design and implementation of secure Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) architectures on AWS and configuring Network Access Control Lists (NACLs) and Security Groups (SGs) for traffic filtering. Previously, Javaria held similar roles at American Express and First Republic, where responsibilities included deploying intrusion detection and prevention systems, enforcing multi-factor authentication, and managing Azure Firewall and VPNs. Earlier experience at Valence Health involved the installation and configuration of various Cisco routers and switches.
