Javid Jafarov

Javid Jafarov is an accomplished data engineering professional with extensive experience in leading data architecture and engineering initiatives. At Meta since August 2019, Javid has served as Data Engineering Manager and Senior Data Engineer, where responsibilities included defining data architecture for large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams globally, and building advanced data models and visualizations. Prior to Meta, Javid worked as a Big Data Engineer at Zalando SE, leading development projects and managing data processing pipelines. Earlier experience includes roles as Software Support Manager and Senior Software Support Engineer at P.I. Works, Inc. where Javid managed teams, collaborated on product enhancements, and integrated data processing solutions. Javid's career began as an R&D Engineer at BiTS Computer Ltd., developing RFID technology. Javid holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
