Javiera Astudillo

Javiera Astudillo has extensive experience in data science and education, with a solid background in both academic and industry settings. At Harvard University, Javiera worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Fellow, focusing on machine learning applications in astronomy, while also serving as a Teaching Fellow for various data science courses. Prior roles include Teaching Assistant positions at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Univ.AI, along with internships at Infosys and Falabella Retail. As a Data Scientist at Falabella, Javiera developed a highly effective customer targeting strategy, and currently serves as a Data Scientist at Meta. Javiera holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Harvard University and a combined Master and Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
