Jay Burgess has extensive experience in accounting and financial controllership, beginning with a Strategic Outsourcing Internship at IBM in 2004. After earning a degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2005, Jay Burgess worked at Ernst & Young until 2013, where responsibilities included leading audit teams for significant clients such as Facebook, Nektar Therapeutics, and Portola Pharmaceuticals. Following this, Jay Burgess held the position of Hardware Revenue Accounting Lead at Google before serving as Assistant Controller at DataStax. Since August 2017, Jay Burgess has been the Director of Accounting Controllership for Creators, Music, e-Commerce, and Payments at Meta.
