Jay Guo is an experienced reliability engineer with a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing and wearable technology. At Lam Research, Jay led efforts in predicting and analyzing the reliability of mechanical designs and software programs for semiconductor equipment. Prior to that, Jay served as a senior reliability engineer and instructor at Western New England University, where responsibilities included teaching undergraduate courses and conducting research in lithium-ion battery capacity modeling. Currently, at Meta, Jay focuses on system reliability for wrist wearables, overseeing the definition of reliability specifications and facilitating cross-functional teams to manage reliability risks. Jay holds a Master's degree in Management Science from Beijing Jiaotong University and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Western New England University.
