Jay Tomlinson has extensive experience in engineering, primarily within the fields of design and automation. Starting as a Design Engineer at Amdahl from 1984 to 1992, Jay held multiple roles at different companies, including Principal Engineer and Director Hardware/Principal Engineer at Sonics, Inc. between January 2003 and January 2008. Subsequent positions included Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation from July 2014 to October 2019, where responsibilities included serving as the Staff Automation Lead and On Chip Fabric Design Engineer. Prior to Intel, Jay was a Senior Engineer at Cisco Systems and held roles at MicroUnity and Amdahl Corp. Since October 2019, Jay has been a Digital Design Engineer at Meta.
