Jay Vakil

Jay Vakil is a Robotics System Integrator at Meta, where responsibilities include building a large-scale distributed robot arm cluster and developing tools that significantly reduce downtime of systems and experiments. Previously, Jay served as President and Treasurer of the Indian Student Association at the University of Washington Bothell, promoting Indian culture and providing support to international students. As the Electrical Engineering Lead at BEEducated, Jay led a team in designing and constructing a smart hive system. Jay's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science in Engineering from North Seattle College, complemented by studies in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
