Jayati Athavale

Jayati Athavale possesses extensive experience in thermal engineering and data center infrastructure management. From January 2014 to February 2019, Jayati served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Tech in the CEETHERM Data Center Lab. Prior to that, Jayati gained hands-on experience as a Student Intern in Steam Engineering at Forbes Marshall in June 2011 and as a Research Intern in the Applied Sciences Group at Microsoft in 2016, where significant contributions were made to thermal management solutions, specifically focusing on vapor chamber technology. Currently, Jayati is a Thermal Engineer at Meta, starting in February 2019. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune, a Master's degree from Virginia Tech, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, achieving a perfect GPA of 4.00.
