Jesse Kerr

Jesse Kerr is a seasoned data analyst and scientist with extensive experience in both academic and corporate settings. At Dirks Lab, Jesse contributed to the study of tardigrade distribution in the Grand Canyon National Park and analyzed environmental factors affecting species presence. Subsequent roles included research fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where large biological datasets were analyzed, and intern at UCSF, focusing on RNA extraction and gene expression analysis. Positions at Pilytix and Apple involved data science and pipeline optimization, leading to significant improvements in product quality and operational efficiency. Currently, Jesse serves as a senior data analyst at Meta. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Evergreen State College and completion of an immersive data science program at Galvanize Inc.
