Jiahui Chen

Jiahui (Karen) Chen is a highly skilled computer scientist with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah, where a cumulative GPA of 3.89 was achieved. Jiahui has garnered valuable experience through various internships, including a Software Engineering Intern position at Instagram, where models for detecting guideline-violating content were developed, and an internship at Microsoft focused on machine learning for table parsing. Research experience includes contributions to the NetSecOps project and the Center for High Performance Computing at the University of Utah. Currently, Jiahui is pursuing a PhD at The University of Texas at Austin and has held multiple roles at Meta, including Software Engineer positions in probabilistic neural networks and Bayesian modeling, as well as a Research Scientist Intern role specializing in generative AI. Publications include a first-author paper in Springer Cluster Computing in 2021.
