Jialiang Wang

Jialiang Wang is a highly accomplished AI Research Scientist with extensive experience in model training and architecture, particularly in the development of media foundation models, including Emu and MovieGen, during tenure at Meta from May 2020 to January 2024. Responsibilities included leading the model development for machine learning depth estimation, significantly contributing to products like Quest Pro, Quest 3, and Meta Ray-Ban. Prior experiences consist of research in NeRF and robust stereo depth estimation at NVIDIA, object recognition research at the University of Toronto, and software engineering at Altera. Jialiang Wang holds a PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
