Jian Jian is an experienced software engineer and technical leader with a strong background in machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and big data technologies. Currently serving as a member of the Apache Hadoop Project Management Committee and as a Committer, Jian Jian has been contributing to the Apache Software Foundation since April 2014. At Meta, Jian Jian focuses on optimizing training resource efficiency for large-scale machine learning models and leads the Ads ML Training Production team. Previously, as an Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer at Alibaba Group, Jian Jian developed company-wide e-commerce microservices and optimized machine learning and data processing workloads. Jian Jian also played a pivotal role at Hortonworks as a Staff Software Engineer, being one of the initial members of the Hadoop YARN/MapReduce team and leading significant features within the Hadoop community.
