Jianfu Chen is a staff research scientist at Meta since October 2015, specializing in various AI applications, including content classification, natural language processing, ranking, speech recognition, and integrity. Key contributions include hierarchical topic classification of news feed posts, detecting event creation intent, optimizing feed ranking for events, and enhancing speech recognition for Portal through sequence-to-sequence learning. Jianfu also works on detecting violating groups, developing a multi-modal machine learning framework, and improving the precision of integrity models.
