Jie Yang

Jie (Jessie) Yang is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in statistical analysis and product analytics. Jie has worked with The Institute of Biostatistics at Fudan University as an Undergraduate Researcher, conducting statistical analysis on gene expression data. At UC San Diego, Jie served as a Teaching Assistant and later gained significant experience at J.D. Power as a Manager in Data Science, where Jie led the development of a vehicle configuration optimization tool and managed teams to innovate data products. Jie further advanced career as a Senior Data Scientist at Meta, providing analysis to enhance music asset investments and guiding strategic decisions through comprehensive data insights. Education includes a BS in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Fudan University and an MS in Statistics from the University of California, San Diego.
