Jilin Yang

Jilin Yang is an experienced optical design engineer and scientist with a strong background in optics and optical sciences, holding a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology and a Master’s degree from the University of Arizona. Jilin's professional journey includes significant roles at DigiLens, Inc. as an Optical Design Engineer, where responsibilities included volume holographic waveguide design and optical system testing. At Goertek Electronics, Jilin served as an Optical Engineer, focusing on image projection technologies and diffractive waveguides. As an Optical Scientist and later Manager at Meta, Jilin contributed to augmented reality optics development and led a new product design team. Previous experiences also include research assignments and internships emphasizing optical system design and analysis.
