Jinghao Yan

Jinghao Yan is a software engineer with extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, having held positions at major technology companies including Microsoft, Facebook, and Meta. At Microsoft, Jinghao contributed to the testing infrastructure for the Cosmos distributed batch processing system. A software engineering internship at Facebook involved back-end infrastructure and front-end interface design, as well as data modeling and database schema design. Concurrently, research at UC Berkeley focused on web security and optimization in Java, while responsibilities as a grader and course assistant highlighted proficiency in discrete mathematics and probability. Currently, at Meta, Jinghao serves as an engineering lead for various advertising products, including Clear History and Dynamic Ads. Jinghao holds a BS/BA/BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Economics, and Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, with a notable GPA of 3.95.
