Jixu Chen possesses extensive experience in computer vision and probabilistic graphical models, beginning with a Research Assistant role at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from August 2006 to February 2011. Jixu transitioned to GE Global Research as a Research Scientist from March 2011 to September 2015, focusing on algorithm development in areas such as object detection, gaze estimation, and facial expression recognition. Following this, a Principal Engineer position was held at Magic Leap from September 2015 to July 2017, which led to a Computer Vision Engineer role at Facebook's Reality Lab from July 2017 to August 2019. Currently, Jixu serves as Tech Lead at Meta Reality Lab since June 2019.
