Joan Li

Joan Li is the Associate General Counsel for Regulatory at Meta, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Joan served as Lead Counsel for Regulatory at the same company from 2021 to 2023, and as a Litigation Associate at Covington & Burling LLP and Cooley LLP between 2016 and 2021. Joan also completed a judicial clerkship with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California from 2019 to 2020 and began their career as an Audit Associate at KPMG from 2011 to 2013. Joan obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and earlier earned both a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
