Joanna Alter

Joanna Alter is an experienced professional with a diverse background in content design, policy research, and project management. Notable roles include serving as a Legal Fellow at the Israeli Ministry of Justice from September 2008 to June 2009, where extensive research contributed to policy decisions during Operation Cast Lead. Joanna has held multiple positions at Meta between February 2022 and May 2024, specifically in the FinTech and Novi sectors, as well as in Partner Growth while based in Tel Aviv. Additionally, Joanna worked as VP of Policy Research at the International Security and Counter-terrorism Academy and SDR Academy from 2013 to January 2016. As Co-marketing Manager at Yotpo from February 2016 to July 2017, Joanna developed co-branded marketing strategies, and as Head of Content at prooV Inc. from September 2017 to March 2020, oversight included both marketing and UX content. Joanna holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2008.
