Joe Eckstrom

Joe Eckstrom is an experienced technology leader specializing in privacy engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Privacy Engineering Manager at Meta since July 2021, Joe supports a global team dedicated to integrating privacy into new products and features. Previously, Joe held various positions at Amazon from June 2014 to July 2021, including Software Development Manager, where leadership contributed to the development of Kingpin and significant improvements in user experience and performance, and Senior Technical Program Manager, responsible for the design and implementation of Amazon Pharmacy. Joe's career began at Marshfield Clinic Health System as IT Solutions Manager and Applications Development Manager, and at DaVita as Applications Development Manager - Lab and Senior Client Technologist. Joe holds an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BS in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida.
