John Dowd

John Dowd is an experienced leader in logistics and military strategy, currently serving as a Director at Meta since August 2013, providing logistics support for Facebook data center operations. Prior to this role, John held the position of Director at Organization and Personnel Force Development from June 2011 to July 2013, where responsibilities included designing Army Aviation organizations and ensuring they met field commander requirements. John's previous experience also includes significant military roles, such as Faculty Member at Air War College and Senior Military Advisor during deployment in Afghanistan. John commanded the Army’s only helicopter flight training battalion as Battalion Commander at the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence and served as Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy. John holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
