John Merlino is a seasoned product design leader with extensive experience in driving innovative design strategies across prominent organizations. Co-founded Freshthrills, LLC, a creative design studio, and served in various leadership roles at Meta, including Product Design Lead for Sharing & Messaging, and currently for Search & Meta AI. Merlino's background also includes significant positions at VaynerMedia as Director of Product Design, where the suite of business management tools called IVY was developed, and at Meetup, where responsibilities included enhancing the platform's event experience. Earlier roles included Director of Product at Katch.me and Seen.co, as well as Design Technologist at Community Connect Inc.
