John Rivera is an experienced software engineer with a background in various technical roles across multiple companies. Rivera worked at ChefSteps from December 2016 to April 2019 as a Software Engineer for the Joule App, and prior to that, served as a Customer Service Associate at Uhaul from October 2015 to June 2016. Following ChefSteps, Rivera held the position of Senior SDE + Design Technologist at Amazon from June 2019 to January 2024 and transitioned to Apple as a Senior Software Engineer for watchOS from February 2024 to October 2025.
