Jon Rathbone is an accomplished industrial designer with extensive experience in packaging design and management. Starting as an industrial designer at Webb deVlam, Jon quickly advanced to senior roles, including a position as Sr. Industrial Designer at Microsoft from October 2012 to September 2016. Afterward, Jon held several leadership positions at Oculus VR, culminating as Packaging Design Lead until March 2025. Concurrently, from November 2018, Jon progressed to Industrial Design Manager and eventually Director of Industrial Design - Packaging at Meta. In addition to corporate roles, Jon has been the Owner and Principal Designer at Rathbone Design Inc. since September 2010. Jon holds a BA in Product Design from The Nottingham Trent University and an MS in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University.
