Jon Swinghammer is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Meta since January 2021, Jon previously held multiple engineering leadership roles at Tripadvisor from March 2017 to January 2021, including Vice President of Engineering for Viator, QA, and Information Technology, as well as Senior Director of Engineering. Earlier career highlights include a position as Senior Web Developer at Brainshark from February 2008 to May 2010 and Technical Director at Liquid Advertising from September 2003 to February 2008. Jon began the career at StarBak Communications as Team Lead from April 2001 to September 2003 and holds a degree from The Ohio State University.
