Jonathan Basir

Jonathan Basir has extensive experience in privacy and legal project management, having held significant roles in several prominent companies. At Ropes & Gray LLP, Jonathan served as a Legal Project Manager focused on investigations from December 2012 to June 2015. Jonathan transitioned to Deloitte as a Senior Associate in Advisory from June 2015 to May 2018, followed by a managerial position at PwC in Cyber, Privacy, & Forensics from June 2018 to March 2022. Jonathan then advanced to Meta as Manager of Global Privacy Operations and Program Manager of Privacy from March 2022 to August 2023. Currently, Jonathan holds the position of Senior Product Manager of Privacy at Microsoft, starting in August 2023. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Saint John's University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Universidad de Salamanca.
