Jonathan Tompson

Jonathan Tompson is a seasoned professional in the fields of robotics and machine learning with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. As a co-founder of Percepive Code, Jonathan contributed to the development of advanced vision-based tracking solutions before the company was acquired in 2015. Following this, Jonathan served as a software engineering intern at MongoDB, Inc. and progressed to hold prominent positions at Google, where Jonathan led robotics machine learning efforts as a senior staff research scientist, and currently at Meta as a principal research scientist in robotics machine learning. Jonathan's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University, demonstrating a robust foundation in technical expertise and research.
