Joseph Brennan is an experienced mathematician with a strong background in both education and curriculum development. At Great Minds, Joseph served as a mathematician from March 2020 to June 2024, specializing in algebra and statistics for grades 6-12 and ensuring the mathematical integrity of the curriculum. Prior to that, as the Assistant Teaching Specialist and Director of Calculus at the University of Kansas from June 2015 to December 2019, Joseph coordinated calculus courses and trained graduate teaching assistants. Joseph's expertise in mathematics extended to a role as AI Tutor and Research Collaborator V at Tundra Technical Solutions, where collaboration with LLAMA Researchers focused on AI reasoning and mathematics homework help projects. Joseph currently holds the position of GenAI Project Manager at Meta since December 2025. Joseph also contributed to innovative teaching methods as the Riley Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Binghamton University from August 2012 to June 2015 and holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Mathematics from the University of Florida.
