Joseph Young

Joseph Young is an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in automating data processes and developing analytical models. At Brit Insurance, Joseph automated data scrapes and uploads using Python and the ResQ COM API, and created allocation models for reserving data. Prior to this, Joseph gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Wattson Blue, where analysis and visualization of athlete training data were conducted utilizing MATLAB and Python. Joseph also held project management roles at Verve Projects, working with high-profile clients and overseeing subcontractors to ensure project efficiency. Joseph’s academic credentials include a degree in MPhys Physics from the University of Oxford and outstanding A-Level and GCSE results from Caterham School. Currently, Joseph works as a Data Engineer at Meta, having previously held the same position at Smart Pension.
