Josh Oberman is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and consulting. Beginning as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago from January 2014 to August 2015, Josh moved on to Inquidia Consulting as a Consultant from October 2015 to September 2017. Following this, Josh worked as a Data Science Developer at Penguin Random House from September 2017 to May 2018, before taking on the role of Machine Learning Scientist at Networked Insights until its acquisition by American Family Insurance in May 2020. Josh advanced to Senior Data Scientist at American Family Insurance until July 2025, after which Josh joined Meta as a Data Scientist. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Allied Fields (Cognitive Science) from The University of Chicago, obtained with General Honors in 2013.
