Josh Sampson, PE, PMP is an experienced engineering professional with a background in control systems and project management. At Baker Group, from April 2018 to August 2021, Josh served as a Control Systems Engineer and Project Manager, focusing on designing industrial control panels and PLC programming. Prior experience includes serving as an Infantry Team Leader in the Iowa Army National Guard, where Josh achieved the rank of Sergeant and provided training and mentorship to lower enlisted personnel. Additionally, Josh held positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where research on control systems for renewables was conducted, and as an Electrical Design Intern at The ESCO Group. Presently, Josh is a Controls Subject Matter Expert at Meta. Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University, earned in 2015.
