Joungsub Shin is a seasoned antenna engineer with extensive experience in designing and optimizing antennas for mobile devices. Beginning a career as a Sr. Antenna Engineer at Samsung Electronics from January 2003 to October 2008, Joungsub Shin focused on high-performance multi-band and ceramic antennas. Following this, a role as Chief Research Antenna/RF Engineer at LG Electronics from September 2010 to September 2013 involved antenna design for Android and Windows smartphones. Subsequently, an Antenna Application Engineer position at Wispry from October 2013 to August 2019 centered on developing tunable antenna solutions with MEMS capacitors. Joungsub Shin's expertise continued as an Antenna/RF Engineer at Fresh Consulting for Facebook Technologies from September 2019 to September 2020, before taking on the current role at Meta as an Antenna Engineer since September 2020. Additionally, an early experience at Foxconn International Holdings in Korea as the Antenna Team Leader from November 2008 to August 2009 included designing antennas for Nokia’s CDMA handsets. Education was pursued at Florida Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2002.
