Julia Morpurgo

Julia Morpurgo is an experienced legal professional with a strong focus on privacy and data protection. At Taboola, from January 2020 to February 2022, Julia served as Privacy Counsel, leading the global privacy program and managing essential policies and compliance initiatives, including GDPR. Prior roles include Associate Counsel at Taboola and a Legal Intern at the Federal Trade Commission, where contributions were made to investigations regarding unfair business practices. Julia's experience extends to various internships in media and advertising law, including positions at Cosmopolitan Magazine, Vanity Fair, and the Advertising Self-Regulatory Council. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Media Studies, and Communications from New York University and a Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with concentrations in Intellectual Property and Media Law, as well as Public Law and Regulation. Currently, Julia is a Lead Counsel for Global Privacy & Data Protection at Meta.
