Jun-Jee Chao

Jun-Jee Chao is a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota, with extensive experience in research related to computer vision and generative models, including Gaussian Splatting for dynamic scenes and single-view object 3D reconstruction. Prior roles include research assistant positions at RSN Lab and at National Taiwan University, where Jun-Jee developed software for imaging systems and deep learning applications. Professional experience includes internships at NVIDIA, Samsung Research America, and Apple, focusing on scene rendering, 3D scene completion, and sensor calibration. Jun-Jee Chao holds a Bachelor's degree in Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university. Currently, Jun-Jee serves as a Research Scientist at Meta.
