Jun Xu

Jun Xu is a skilled research scientist at Meta, with a focus on Facebook video recommendation since February 2019. Prior experience includes a software engineer internship at Facebook in 2018, where work involved Places Data, and a software engineer internship at MosaixSoft, Inc. in 2016, focusing on Java development and software testing. As a research assistant at the University of Central Florida from August 2014 to May 2019, Jun Xu contributed to projects involving mobility models, path planning, and machine learning, including taxi demand prediction utilizing recurrent neural networks and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) implementation. Jun Xu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida and a degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
