Junan Guo is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing innovative solutions for data processing and privacy. At the San Diego Supercomputer Center, Junan designed a platform for large-scale social media data research and co-authored a paper published by IEEE. Junan continued to enhance software systems at UKG, where work included developing a Java microservice for user authentication and improving application security while transitioning to a microservice architecture. Currently employed at Meta, Junan focuses on Messenger. Junan holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Cognitive Science with a concentration in Machine Learning from UC San Diego.
