Junichi Nakamura has extensive experience in marketing science, having held significant roles at major companies. At Facebook (now Meta) from May 2017 to April 2019, Junichi served as the Marketing Science Head in Japan and later took on the position of Director for Marketing Science across North East Asia and APAC. Following this, Junichi joined Procter & Gamble in August 2013 as Associate Director of Insights and Analytics Head until May 2017. Currently, from October 2021 to May 2024, Junichi is serving as Director of Marketing Science for North East Asia and the APAC Next Gen Ads Ecosystem at Meta, contributing to the overarching vision of the Metaverse. Academically, Junichi earned a Master of Fine Arts in Design Thinking from 京都造形芸術大学 in 2023 and holds a degree in Economics from 慶應義塾大学, completed in 2002.
