Kai Li

Kai Li is a seasoned Senior Staff Research Scientist at Meta, leading a team of over 80 ML/AI engineers in the Cross-Meta Integrity AI organization with a focus on computer vision. Renowned for establishing a computer vision circle within the integrity community, Kai Li has a proven track record of driving impactful research-to-production initiatives and innovative deep learning solutions. Prior experience includes a research engineer internship at Facebook, where efforts focused on machine learning algorithms for video retrieval, software engineering internship at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and research roles at Huazhong University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Kai Li holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automatic Control from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
