Kapil Dalwani

Kapil Dalwani is an experienced machine learning and software engineering professional with a career spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as a Tech Lead and Software Engineer at Meta since May 2018, Kapil specializes in building and scaling large-scale recommendation and ranking systems for Ads personalization and video recommendations. Prior to Meta, roles included Senior Research Engineer in machine learning at Apple, where work focused on ML algorithms for Apple Maps, and Big Data Engineer at Eventbrite, emphasizing search and recommendation systems. Other notable positions include Senior Software Engineer at AT&T Interactive, Software Engineer at Pipio, and various roles in earlier stages of the career, culminating in a solid foundation in software development and data science. Kapil holds an MS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
