Katha Chanda

Katha Chanda has a robust background in software engineering and machine learning, with experience at prominent companies such as Meta, Microsoft, and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). At Microsoft, Katha held various positions including Senior Software Engineer focusing on PowerBI content delivery features and software engineering roles emphasizing customer reach and scalability. Katha's machine learning expertise was further developed during a Visiting Research Fellowship at SUTD, working on emotional audio classification to aid therapy and rehabilitation. Additional experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Intern at Lily app, and involvement as a Student Ambassador at EMC. Katha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amity University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by multiple roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
