Katie Comer has extensive experience in community development and fundraising, demonstrated through leadership roles at organizations such as the American Red Cross and Meta. At the American Red Cross, Comer served as Interim Chief Development Officer and Director of Development, managing fundraising teams and securing over $8 million for mission programs. Comer's expertise in corporate partnerships led to significant revenue generation and the receipt of the prestigious 2018 National American Red Cross President Award. Currently, as Head of Data Center Community Development for North America at Meta, Comer oversees stakeholder engagement across 17 data center communities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Communication and Women's Studies from The University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University.
