Katie Tseng

Katie Tseng possesses extensive experience in software engineering, having worked for prominent companies including MediaTek, TSMC, IBM, and Meta. At MediaTek, Katie developed and maintained Cellular Data Plane protocol software for major mobile phone brands and led comprehensive testing efforts. Katie transitioned to academia as a Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, co-authoring three research papers on cloud computing and IoT applications. At Meta, Katie advanced from Software Engineer to Software Engineering Manager, leading a team that built a high-performance ORM framework and managing a diverse team of engineers.
