Keir Lamont currently serves as the Privacy and Data Policy Manager at Meta, a position held since August 2025. Prior to this role, Keir was with the Future of Privacy Forum from December 2021 to August 2025, where responsibilities included Senior Director, Director for U.S. Legislation, and Senior Counsel. Previous experience includes serving as Policy Counsel at the Computer & Communications Industry Association from January 2019 to December 2021, Manager of the Program on Data and Governance at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law from January 2017 to December 2018, and a Legal Fellow at ZwillGen PLLC for part of 2016. Initial work experience includes a Privacy Fellowship at Access Now and a Student Attorney position in the Communications and Technology Law Section at the Institute for Public Representation. Keir holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Florida.
