KF Tang is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in both software development and data engineering. At Microsoft, during a software engineer internship, KF Tang contributed to the index generation stack by shipping a new language detection component and a deep learning model for enhanced document embeddings. Additionally, KF Tang managed the document processing pipeline and testing system. Prior to Microsoft, KF Tang worked as a data engineer at FunPlus, focusing on ETL processes, self-service visualization systems, and trending keyword modeling. Currently, KF Tang is employed as a software engineer at Meta. KF Tang holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
