Kiryong Ha

Kiryong Ha is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Meta since March 2017, responsible for designing and building systems to manage and scale Meta's infrastructure, which supports major products like Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. Prior to this role, Kiryong served as a researcher at ETRI from February 2007 to July 2011 and completed a Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University in December 2016, focusing on cloud computing, virtualization, and edge computing. Kiryong holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and an M.S. in Bioinformatics and Distributed Systems from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
