Kumar Ashutosh

Kumar Ashutosh is a Research Scientist Intern at Meta since May 2025, with extensive experience in research and development roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin since July 2021, Kumar previously held positions at Meta as a Visiting Researcher and Research Intern, along with part-time roles as a Student Researcher. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where Kumar taught Applied Linear Algebra and Matrix Computations. Kumar has also worked as an Augmented Reality Developer at 360world, Research Intern at Sony Electronics, and has contributed to projects as a Student Developer during Google Summer of Code. Kumar's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a dual degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
